When I was a little girl growing up in a small railroad flat in New York City, that song used to come on the radio that was on a shelf in the kitchen. My grandmother--we lived with her--used to say that it was my song. Whenever I hear it, I'm back in that place, three or four years old, in that place of security and comfort that comes with being small and well loved.
Well, if your area is like may area you have tons of falling stars! :) Hope you dry out soon!
AntwortenLöschenSounds Like Pery Como to me! I think it lucky just to see one.
AntwortenLöschenI will be singing this tune all day . . . a pocket full of starlight
AntwortenLöschenThanks Tony for putting that tune in my head, has the rain stopped falling yet?
AntwortenLöschenIs it still raining in Germany? Hopefully it will stop before September when I visit! Glad you made lemonade out of your lemons!
